Born in Madrid, raised in Australia with family ties rooted in Basque Country, Chef Aitor has what most people would call a diverse background. Nevertheless, it is his culinary achievements that catch the eye. After years of working in some of the world’s best restaurants, like Mugaritz in Spain, The Fat Duck in London and Iggy’s in Singapore, Chef Aitor comes into his own at Basque Kitchen by Aitor, presenting diners a slice of his heritage with every dish.
Chef Oldřich Sahajdák was born and raised in Prague. After completing his formal education, Chef Oldřich chased his culinary pursuits in Germany, starting in Frankfurt and later venturing into Munich. Eventually, Chef Oldřich chose to return to his roots in Prague and worked for the Ambiente group. During his stint, Chef Oldřich not only rose through the ranks to become Executive Chef, but also helped the company launch more than 10 restaurants in 8 years. In 2006, he became a partner in Ambiente and made his dreams a reality with the opening of his own restaurant called La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise which has been awarded a 1 Michelin star since 2012.
